Who Owns Presidential Records when a President Leaves Office? Who? We, The People, of America Do!

President Nixon and the infamous WATERGATE! He forced the hands of Congress to Act and They Did. To prevent EXACTLY what Trump did from Happening! But Trump didn’t take the doodlings, he took everything including the Kitchen Sink.

And a matter of Trump’s one Last FUCK YOU JOE was when he did not attend the Inauguration. But this Act was nothing more than another one of Trump’s fanciful hullabaloos.

Legislators passed the Presidential Recordings and Materials Preservation Act, which made all of Nixon’s material public property.

However, that measure applied to Nixon only. In 1978, Congress passed the more sweeping Presidential Records Act that has been the standard ever since.

“Every president, when they leave office, those records that have been created by the president and his staff are presidential records that go to the National Archives,” Baron said. “The owner is the American people.”

When guests wanted to see something, they were shown it. Man, who does that?

Does Trump need to be COMMITTED?

After making a familiar yet bogus claim about how he would have “easily won” if not for “massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country,” the former and twice-impeached president proposed a “REMEDY” in a Truth Social post on Monday morning.

“Declare the rightful winner or — and this would be the minimal solution — declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!”

Trump pushed the idea again 14 hours later.

“Declare the rightful winner, or hold a new Election, NOW! Our Country, which is failing badly, knows the ‘score,’ and will never accept Criminal Election Interference,” he wrote in a follow-up post at 1:46 a.m. ET.

Trump appears to be cracking up!

“Mitch McConnell is not an Opposition Leader, he is a pawn for the Democrats to get whatever they want,” Trump said in a statement Wednesday. “He is afraid of them, and will not do what has to be done. A new Republican Leader in the Senate should be picked immediately!”

The call to replace the Republicans’ longest-serving leader in history comes not long after the former president criticized McConnell for what he believes is his lack of support for the GOP’s 2022 midterm candidates.

“Why do Republican Senators allow a broken down hack politician, Mitch McConnell, to openly disparage hard-working Republican candidates for the United States Senate?” Trump wrote Saturday on Truth Social. He also called McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, who served in the Trump administration as secretary of transportation, “crazy” in the post.

Trump still is considering Marjorie Taylor Greene as his Vice-President Choice
