In this book, the same lovable characters, including Granny Z, that the reader has encountered in the first two books are still present and just as lovable or disgusting as before. And like the 1st two books, Granny Z tells the same wonderfully engaging children tales for all children to help lift their heads-up. The time table is set in a very difficult to explain time period of racial turmoil and continuing racial injustices spiraling out of control taking place everywhere. Everyone is either working hard or angered by not having any work. It is a time of many powerful events challenging America and the Cold War is blistering to a fever pitch. The Soviet Union and America are engaging each other in cat and mouse games of dangerous war tactics where young men and women are being killed away from the General Public’s eye. A Soviet Nuclear Submarine Base being built on the coast of Mexico only adds to the furious nature of this novel and the Cold War.

About the Author

JAMES BROWN writes as “the living breathing James Brown” and is seen on the back cover with this son, Brandon, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  James’s writings have amassed over 19,000-plus followers from over 82 Different Countries from all over the World.  His books are being SOLD all over the World as well. This book is the 3rd Book in A Panther’s Father Book Series.

James started writing in the 1960’s and went on to serve in the U.S. Army.  While Overseas, he was a gunner on a Main Battle Tank affectionately known to the crew as Aphrodities. After Military Service, he then entered College at Texas A&M University and then finally finishing-up at Sam Houston State University.   He was published in the Sam Houston State Literary Review and The Texas Review.  In 1996, he wrote the book, Handgun Safety.

James predominately writes from experiences while Overseas and also in Texas.  And part of his personal life-stressing events come from working as a Correctional Officer in the Texas Prison System where his time began in 1978.  And in 1980, James quit work at a Texas Prison, and he swore to God that he would never return to another Texas Prison ever again.  Yet, God humbled James and brought him back to the Texas Prison System where he completed working at five different Texas Prison Units, including Death Row, until his Retirement in 2019.  While at the Texas Prisons, James saw real impecuniosity from both the Officers and the Offenders.  At times, James witnessed men and women hanging their heads down revealing visible feelings of hopelessness. He also aided in preventing two suicides by hanging which will always haunt him.  And after seeing these things, the Lord led James to write A Panther’s Father Book Series to give Hope to the many who seek it.  God, Jesus, and Angels are in his books.

As a Correctional Officer, James would tell an Officer or an Offender without hesitation-It doesn’t matter who you are.  Once you enter beyond the front or the back gate at any Texas Prison, it does not matter who you are and whether you are wearing Gray or White, everyone is doing time.  And I can’t do your time and you can’t do my time.  All of us have to learn how to do our own time at any Unit. And James did his. Yet, his books are not Prison Related in any way.

James enjoys writing engaging and fulfilling storyline for a conscionable, demanding audience like yourself.   And through his fictional writings, James takes the reader to the edge of painful, tearful, despair with multiply, intriguing plots taking place in each book and then brings the Reader gifts of Warmth and Hope and Happiness and Joy.

As this book, A Panther’s Father III, has become available to the Reader in 2019, James continues to work on A Panther’s Father IV which is scheduled to be Released in 2020.  James can be followed at-
